Spring is in the air, and as new life blossoms all around, JAI has been flourishing in new projects springing up as well. Let’s look at four budding projects across the country that the JAI team has been hard at work designing.
Gateway Dunedin Development – Dunedin, FL
The Gateway Dunedin Development project consists of two major parts: a four-story, new construction independent boutique hotel and a separate multi-family building. A promenade will connect the two buildings and create a gathering space for residents and visitors to enjoy the music, art, and culture of Dunedin…one of Florida’s hidden gems!
Our concept and palette for the hotel and apartments’ interior spaces derive from Dunedin’s rich history of citrus farming. All design elements will be fresh, classic, and natural, with a similar aesthetic across each building that will “communicate” with one another but allow each space to remain distinct.
We are excited for the Dunedin community to experience the Gateway Development by the fourth quarter of 2023!
SpringHill Suites – Asheville, NC
Asheville, NC, known for its breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountain location, vibrant art scene, and historic architecture, will be welcoming a new SpringHill Suites by Marriott along Asheville’s growth corridor known as the Enka District. With an anticipated opening near the end of the fourth quarter in 2023, our design of this custom new construction is inspired by the textile manufacturing heritage of Enka.
Our 2D and 3D conceptual drawings convey our vision, emphasizing woven and natural materials balanced with polished industrial details. Given the hotel’s location, we plan to bring the outside-in as much as possible.
This exciting project is in full swing as we are through the design development phase and moving into the construction document phase.
SpringHill Suites – Silverton Ranch, NV
Our custom new construction SpringHill Suites near Las Vegas is inspired by the rustic western ranches of Nevada with hints of Pahrump’s historical racing track. Rich textures and warm tones pay homage to its name, Silverton Ranch.
Guests will have ample space for activity options, whether it’s relaxing under a cabana by the pool, unwinding in the cozy lounge, or even playing the slots at the connecting casino. We hope to play here in late 2023 or early 2024!
TownePlace Suites – San Jose, CA
Our design at the TownePlace Suites in San Jose, CA, reflects the history of its local region of Silicon Valley. The primary public space houses a second-story mural that depicts the area’s rich past filled with rolling orchard farms as Santa Clara Valley, merging into its future as today’s modern, technologically advanced Silicon Valley.
Splashes of bright colors in textiles and artwork breathe life into this hotel’s public areas, giving business travelers a refreshing and calming space to spend the evening after a long day. We hope to be enjoying this beautiful new custom construction in the third quarter of 2023!
